Virginia Beach Part 1 - Pancakes, Bikes and Boardwalks

We just spent the morning and early afternoon riding around Virginia Beach. After getting the bikes tuned up, we left Kirk's aunt's beachhouse.

(Beachhouse, Indoor.)

(Beachhouse, Outdoor.)

(The tire inflation was a two-person operation.)

We started with breakfast at Pocahantas Pancakes, which was both large and delicious.

(Sausage, Eggs Over Easy, Bacon, Pecan Pancakes, and Banana French Toast. 8 Bucks.)

(Kirk is in awe of the pancakes.)

(Best breakfast I've had on the trip. Also, least healthy.)

Then we rode around the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Kirk and Ryan had normal bikes, while I was stuck with the one-speed "cruiser" bike, which wasn't comfortable at all. Plus the tires were completely under-inflated. It was "exercise" in the most liberal definition of the word.

(Boardwalk in Motion.)

(Oh man, it's my name! I'm so cool!)

(Kirk and Ryan reach out for something they can't define...)

(Sweet bikes, dudes.)

(The Virginia Beach Boardwalk.)

Now we are going to actually hit the beach itself, then go to Kirk's aunt's lakehouse, which is 15 minutes away. That's where they keep the Jet Skis. That's there I want to be.
