Great night. Here's the quick recap: We drove to dinner, had an all-you-can-eat comfort food feast, drove to have dessert near the Vanderbilt campus, saw a full-scale replica of the Parthenon, then drove to the Strip for a bit of live music, then returned home for a screening of Super Troopers and a nightcap. The night will just have to be retold in captions...Here goes:
(You know how sometimes you pose for a picture just so that you can point the camera at something you really want to take a picture of, but can't just capture outright? See the next photo for the motivation behind this picture.)
(This was the MOST AMAZING, CURLY MULLET I'd ever seen.)
(A great little country market. I picked up a t-shirt that says "Our Butts are Smokin'."
(The pulled pork sample at Hams n' Jams. Little did I know what was coming...)
(Our first wave of all-you-can-eat fare: Fried Chicken, Pulled Pork, Mac n' Cheese, Hash Brown Casserole and Fried Okra.)
(The second helping of pulled pork we received, shown with Kirk's emo red nail for sizing perspective.)
(Jackson's: Greatest - and only - Cookie Dough Spring Rolls I've ever had.)
(This was supposed to be a picture of dessert, but really it's just a picture of Kirk's jaw and Betsy's chest.)
(The full-scale replica of The Parthenon in the middle of Nashville.)
(The girls decided to both squeeze my ass in order to get me to smile. I suppose their plan worked.)
(The Nashville Strip.)
(Inside Tootsies, performing "Take it Easy" by the Eagles.)
